Communications Campaign Lead at National Renewable Energy Laboratory

Shelby Kuenzli has a diverse range of work experience starting in 2014. Shelby began as an Engineering Support Clerk at Alliance Laundry Systems LLC before moving on to roles such as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the James B. Skatrud Pulmonary/Sleep Research Laboratory and a Digital Marketing and Sustainability Fellow at the Center for EcoTechnology. Shelby then worked at the University of Wisconsin E-Business Consortium as a Marketing and Communications Assistant.

Starting in 2018, Shelby joined E Source where they progressed from an Associate Analyst to a Marketing Research Analyst I and eventually a Marketing Research Analyst II. In this role, they conducted market research and analysis.

In 2021, Shelby transitioned to RMI as a Program Marketing Lead, where they were responsible for leading the communications strategy for city decarbonization initiatives. Shelby managed various communication projects, developed marketing content and campaigns, and collaborated with internal and external partners.

Most recently, they have secured a position as a Communications Campaign Lead at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, starting in 2023. The details of this role are yet to be provided.

Shelby Kuenzli completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Shelby'sfield of study was in Life Sciences Communication and Zoology. Additionally, they received additional certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in July 2022. In August 2014, they also obtained RARC (Research Animal Resource Center) Training from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
