Wenyi Kuang is a software engineer researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since June 2023, with prior experience at Amazon, where Wenyi maintained and developed tier-1 services as part of the Cart team from July 2020 to June 2023. Previous roles include software engineering co-op at TripAdvisor, focusing on projects involving Kubernetes, Docker, Vue.js, and OPENAPI, and internships at Microsoft and Huawei Technologies, where Wenyi developed tools and fixed kernel bugs to enhance system efficiency. Additionally, Wenyi served as a master's assistant at Northeastern University, implementing machine learning models, and was a research assistant at Sun Yat-Sen University, creating an app for human movement recognition. Wenyi holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
