Nikolay Islamov

Nikolay Islamov is an experienced professional in application security, currently serving as the Head of Application Security at Tinkoff Bank since July 2017, while also holding the position of Application Security Expert. In addition to this role, Nikolay lectures at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics. Previous experience includes working as a Cyber Developer at UFS-Online, where responsibilities encompassed development, mobile security research, penetration testing, and analyzing new security trends. Prior experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at Gaincode Ltd., focusing on the design and implementation of Android and UWP clients, as well as developing a framework for core functionalities. Nikolay began a career in the tech industry at Napoleon IT LLC, developing games and applications featuring augmented reality. Nikolay holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Security from South Ural State University.
