Karl Dahlgren

Karl Dahlgren is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer at the National Restaurant Association since 2025, Dahlgren focuses on delivering value to the restaurant industry through strategic management of the Association’s product portfolio. Prior to this role, Dahlgren held the position of Executive Vice President at the National Safety Council, overseeing the organization’s training line of business. Additional experience includes managing director roles at BAI in strategy, research, and learning & development, as well as business development at PathAR LLC. Earlier career highlights include serving as CEO of Versata/Trilogy Software and president of 4Access Communications. Dahlgren’s career began at LaSalle Bank Corporation, where ethical responsibility and innovation were key focuses. Educational credentials include an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from North Park University.
