Vanessa Sink

Vanessa Sink has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vanessa is currently working at the National Restaurant Association as the Senior Director of Media Relations, a role they have held since April 2023. Previously, they served as the Director of Media Relations at the same organization from March 2019 to April 2023. Prior to that, Vanessa worked at the National Council on Aging as the Public Affairs Manager from May 2014 to March 2019. Vanessa was responsible for media relations and monitoring media coverage. Vanessa also worked at the National Institutes of Health as a Communications Editor on a contract basis from August 2013 to May 2014. Vanessa started their career at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners as a Communications Specialist III from 2006 to 2013. Prior to that, Vanessa worked at KOCO-TV as a Morning Producer from July 2003 to May 2006, where they were responsible for planning and producing the morning newscast. Additionally, they worked at VMA Group as a Marketing Coordinator from November 2002 to April 2003 and at KMBC-TV as a Weekend Assignment Editor from March 2002 to October 2002.

Vanessa Sink obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2000 to 2002.
