Ron Spomer is an accomplished outdoor writer, editor, and photographer with extensive experience in the hunting and fishing industries. Since September 2003, Spomer has served as the Field Editor and Contributing Photographer for Sports Afield Magazine while also holding the roles of Video Producer and President at Ron Spomer Outdoors and Ron Spomer Outdoors Inc. since January 2012 and January 1976, respectively. Additionally, Spomer has been a Senior Editor and Rifles Columnist for Sporting Classics magazine since 1984, contributing insights and reviews on firearms and hunting. Spomer is also the Field Editor and Hunting Dogs columnist for the National Rifle Association's American Hunter magazine, and previously hosted the Winchester World of Whitetail TV show on the Outdoor Channel. Expertise encompasses writing feature articles and product reviews related to outdoor recreation, including an extensive background as a Senior Writer for Buckmaster's Gun Hunter Magazine from 2008 to 2012.
