Lauren Torres

Lauren Torres is an experienced civil engineer and project manager with a diverse background in public safety and local government projects. Currently serving as a Program Technical Advisor at the National Safety Council since March 2023, Lauren previously held the position of Project Manager at Orange County Government from April 2018 to March 2023. Prior roles include Civil Engineer for the City of Orlando from September 2012 to April 2018, Project Engineer at Singhofen and Associates from May 2007 to June 2009, Staff Engineer at Dyer, Riddle from October 2005 to May 2007, and Engineering Technician III at Sarasota County Public Works from January 2005 to October 2005. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s in Business Administration from Strayer University.
