Alex Barnes

Alex Barnes is a seasoned professional in the performing arts industry, currently serving as the Director of Artistic Planning at National Sawdust in Brooklyn since October 2022. Previously, Alex held various roles at CAMI Music from May 2013 to August 2022, including Associate Manager & Producer, where responsibilities encompassed touring theatrical productions and strategic support for international concert artists. Prior experience includes writing and editing for Arcade 44, managing marketing strategies at Woods, Witt, Dealy & Sons, and serving as Associate Producer for Festival Productions Inc, contributing to prominent music events. Alex holds a Master's degree in Media Studies from The New School and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies and Creative Writing from New York University.
