Adam Lustig currently serves as the Director of the Center for Safe Schools at the National School Boards Association since July 2019. Prior to this role, Adam held various positions within the District of Columbia Public Schools from October 2016 to June 2019, including Manager of School Climate and Social and Emotional Learning and School Support Specialist for Behavior and Student Supports. Adam's career began at the NYC Department of Education, where Adam served as Assistant Principal at John Dewey High School and also worked as a Professional Development Trainer and Physical Education/Health Teacher at Williamsburg Preparatory High School, along with coaching varsity baseball and basketball. Adam holds a Certificate in Educational Leadership from Hunter College, a Master of Arts in Physical Education/Health Education from Adelphi University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University at Albany, SUNY.
