Ashley M. Pierce

Ashley M. Pierce, MSc, PhD, currently serves as an Interdisciplinary Staff Associate at the National Science Foundation, where responsibilities include acting as the Designated Federal Official for the Advisory Committee for Environmental Research and Education and facilitating national engagement in science-related discussions. Previously, Ashley held various roles, including Associate Program Director at AAAS and Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation. Additional experience includes working as a Grants Coordinator and Program Assistant at Headwaters Science Institute, as well as guest services positions in the hospitality industry. Ashley's academic background includes a PhD and Master's in Environmental Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from William & Mary.
