Isaiah Shriner

Graduate Research Fellow at National Science Foundation

Isaiah Shriner is a Graduate Student Researcher at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard, focusing on protein engineering for developing direct-acting antivirals and therapeutics. In addition to ongoing research, Isaiah serves as a Business Development Fellow at Harvard University’s Office of Technology Development and is a Graduate Research Fellow for the National Science Foundation. As a PhD Candidate at Harvard Medical School, Isaiah has participated in the GSAS Harvard Biotech Club, contributing to business development for a startup in RNA biology. Previous experience includes work as a Research Associate at Verily Life Sciences, engaging in projects related to disease-vectoring technologies and wastewater analysis for COVID-19, as well as research roles at the University of California San Diego and the University of Colorado Boulder. Isaiah's educational background includes a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University and a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, with a minor in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
