Kate Ruck

Kate Ruck currently serves as the Arctic Research Support and Logistics Manager at the National Science Foundation (NSF) since April 2022. Prior to this role, Kate was a Science Project Manager at QED Enterprises, Inc. from January 2018 to May 2022, and previously held positions at NSF, including Physical Scientist for the Division of Polar Programs and Science Assistant for the Office of Polar Programs between May 2016 and January 2018. Kate also has experience as a Marine Laboratory Technician with GHG Corporation and has worked in various field research roles, including Field Crew Lead Technician at the Prince William Sound Science Center and Sea Sampler for the International Pacific Halibut Commission. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Marine Science from William & Mary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from James Madison University.
