Rajesh Mehta currently serves as Program Director for the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs at the National Science Foundation, a position held since August 2012, where responsibilities include managing a portfolio focused on Environmental Technologies for small businesses. Prior to this role, Rajesh Mehta worked as a Senior Research Technologist in Materials Science & Technology at Eastman Kodak from September 1986 to July 2012 and began an academic career as a Graduate Student at Penn State University from 1978 to 1985. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Physiological Flow from Imperial College London, and an MPD in Product Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology, in addition to a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
