Steven Zehnder

Steven Zehnder has extensive experience in engineering and scientific analysis, currently serving as Program Director for Integrative Activities and Analysis at the National Science Foundation since August 2016. Prior roles at NSF include Associate Program Director for Engineering Biology and Health and Engineering/Science Analyst in various domains such as Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental, and Transport Systems. Prior to joining NSF, Steven was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida's Soft, Living, and Active Matter Lab, focusing on intercellular forces and fluid movement in biological systems using advanced microscopy methods. Steven holds both a Master's and PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, all from the University of Florida.
