Erik R Olbeter

Erik serves as Chief Operating Officer of NSTXL and manages day-to-day operations of NSTXL’s OTA contracts, prototype awards, and new business initiatives. His role is to make it easier for both their government and member clients to rapidly procure new technologies. Prior to NSTXL, Mr. Olbeter held leadership roles in the financial and tech industries, always at the intersection of government, finance, and technology. As Senior Vice President in charge of ICF’s commercial Energy Advisory practice, he served both commercial and government clients. Before that, he spent 12 years on Wall Street as a technology analyst managing teams of researchers covering a wide range of emerging technologies such as cyber and advanced battery storage. He has an M.A. in public policy from Georgetown University and is a CFA charter holder.
