Joseph Dzierzewski, Ph.D. has extensive experience in research and scientific affairs. Joseph currently serves as the Vice President of Research and Scientific Affairs at the National Sleep Foundation since September 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at Virginia Commonwealth University as an Associate Professor from July 2020 to October 2022, and as an Assistant Professor from July 2016 to July 2020. Joseph also worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Research Scientist from September 2015 to July 2020 and as an Advanced Geriatrics Fellow from September 2012 to September 2015. Additionally, they served as an Assistant Professor at UCLA from July 2013 to June 2016.
Joseph Dzierzewski, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
