Huei-Fang Yang

Huei-Fang Yang currently serves as an Associate Professor at National Sun Yat-Sen University since August 2019, previously holding the role of Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at National University of Kaohsiung from February 2018 to July 2019, and as a Bioinformatics Specialist at Howard Hughes Medical Institute from April 2017 to February 2018. Huei-Fang Yang worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Academia Sinica in Taiwan from October 2013 to March 2017 and at INRIA from October 2011 to September 2013. Significant contributions include the development of frameworks for analyzing sperm motility and tracking growth trajectories of axons using advanced microscopy techniques. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and an M.Ed. in Information and Computer Education from National Taiwan Normal University.
