Michael Hiller

Michael Hiller is the current Deputy Director of the Office of Railroad, Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Investigations at the National Transportation Safety Board. Prior to this, they were with WMATA for over 20 years, where they served as Chief Engineer-Vehicles. Michael has been instrumental in investigating a number of high-profile transportation accidents, and their work has helped make transportation safer for everyone.

Their manager is Robert Hall, Director, Office of Railroad, Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Investigations. They are on a team with Dana Sanzo - Deputy Chief, Railroad Division, Sean Lynum - Chief, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials, and Bob Beaton - Chief, System Safety Division.
