Ted Brown

Ted Brown is currently the Division Chief Computer (IT) Services at National Transportation Safety Board. Prior to their current role, Ted was with DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar from January 2012 to October 2019 where they served as the Chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee. In this role, Ted was responsible for leading the committee in its work to provide resources, education and advocacy for in-house counsel.

Ted has also held positions as the General Counsel, Director of Client Relations and Development at RTI Group, LLC from January 2012 to November 2018, and as an Attorney at Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP from January 2008 to December 2009. Prior to their career in law, Ted worked as the eCommerce Manager, Marine Websites at Ritz Interactive, Inc. from January 2000 to December 2007.

Ted Brown has a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, a Bachelor's in Theirtory from East Carolina University, and a High School diploma from JH Rose High School. Ted is also certified by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in the District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland Court of Appeals in the Maryland Bar, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in the United States District Court Bar (Maryland).

Their manager is Michael Anthony, Chief Information Officer. They are on a team with Rahiq Syed - Chief Enterprise Architect, Chris Stephens - Chief Information Security Officer, and Melba Moye - Division Chief Records Management.
