Deborah Meghen

Deborah Meghen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries, including the National Treasury Management Agency, Coillte, EirGrid, ESB Telecoms Ltd, and ESB International. In their most recent role as Investment Director at the National Treasury Management Agency, they were responsible for developing and evolving the agency's sustainable and responsible investment strategy. Prior to that, they held various positions at Coillte, where they served as Director of Stewardship, Risk & Advocacy, Director of Strategy and Innovation, and Development Programme Manager. Their responsibilities in these roles included creating strategic business opportunities and managing the development of energy projects. Deborah also worked at EirGrid as a Manager of High Voltage Transmission Projects and Senior Project Manager. Their earlier experience includes roles at ESB Telecoms Ltd, where they served as a Major Accounts Manager, and Planning Manager. Their work at ESB International involved project management, planning, and design of power lines.

Deborah Meghen has an extensive education history that spans several fields of study. In 1991, they received a Diploma in Geo-Surveying from DIT Bolton Street. Following this, they completed a Diploma in Public Relations from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland from 1996 to 1998. In 2000, Deborah pursued a Post Grad diploma in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin. Deborah then continued their education a few years later at Trinity College Dublin, where they obtained another Post Grad diploma in Environmental Engineering in 2004. Moving on to more recent years, Deborah attended the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2014 to 2017. Here, they earned a Professional Diploma in Strategy, Innovation, and Change in 2015, a Professional Diploma in Organisation Renewal and Transformation in 2016, and finally, a Master's Degree in Business (Leadership & Management Practice) in 2017.
