Deirbhile Brennan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Deirbhile began their career at KPMG in 1991, where they started as a trainee and eventually became an Audit Manager. After leaving KPMG in 1998, they joined Informix Corporation as the Regional Accounting Manager and later became the EMEA Accounting Manager. In 2000, they moved on to Pivotal Corporation as the Finance Director for EMEA. Deirbhile then joined KPMG again in 2002, this time as a Director, where they stayed until 2009. After leaving KPMG, they joined Ulster Bank as a Consultant and worked there until 2012. Since 2012, they have been with the National Treasury Management Agency, where they have held various positions, including Senior Operations Manager, Deputy Head of Operations, Head of Internal Audit, and their current role as Head of Compliance.

Deirbhile Brennan has a Bachelor's Degree in Arts (BA Mod) from Trinity College Dublin. Deirbhile also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Dublin City University and has completed a Master's Degree from Dublin City University/Royal Irish Academy of Music. Additionally, they have obtained the FCA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
