Gerry Moloney

Gerry Moloney has over 15 years of experience in enterprise architecture and solution architecture. Gerry is currently the Head of Enterprise/Solution Architecture at the National Treasury Management Agency, where they oversee the creation of a centre of excellence for Enterprise Architecture and provides strategic reviews and roadmaps for the organization. Gerry has also held roles as a Committee Member at IASA Ireland and as a Guest Speaker at the IRM UK Enterprise Architecture Conference.

In their previous roles, Gerry worked as a Vendor Manager and SharePoint Architect at Houghton Mifflin, where they managed the technology strategy and architectural design of SharePoint solutions. Gerry also worked as a SharePoint Architect and Consultant at Grant Thornton, where they assisted with business and IT strategy, architectural design, and development methodologies.

Gerry was the Lead Microsoft Solutions Consultant at PM Centrix, where they provided architectural design, development, and client mentoring for information management systems. Gerry also worked as a SharePoint Architect at Delphi (now FIS) and as a SharePoint Consultant/Architect at Ward Solutions, where they specialized in architectural design, development, and client mentoring for information/identity management systems.

Earlier in their career, Gerry worked as a Trainer at SOLAS (An tSeirbhís Oideachais Leanúnaigh agus Scileanna) and as a Software/Systems Analyst at FINEOS.

Gerry Moloney completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, attending from 1992 to 1997. Gerry also attended Blackrock College, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In terms of certifications, Gerry obtained several qualifications including COBIT 5 Foundation from PEOPLECERT in September 2016, ITIL Foundation (2011) from PEOPLECERT in September 2016, and TOGAF 9.1 Certified from The Open Group in June 2016. Additionally, they obtained PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner Certificate in Agile Project Management from PEOPLECERT in October 2015 and PRINCE2 Practitioner from APMG-International in August 2013. Gerry also holds certifications from Microsoft such as Microsoft Certified Professional in April 2012, Microsoft Certified IT Professional - SharePoint Administrator 2010 in March 2011, and various Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certifications related to SharePoint and related services between 2009 and 2011. Lastly, Gerry Moloney has a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) for Java 5, although the specific dates are not provided.
