Amalie Nash

Amalie Nash currently serves as Head of Transformation at the National Trust for Local News, focusing on newsroom and content strategy for over 60 titles. Alongside this role, Amalie holds positions as Senior Advisor, Newsroom Transformation Initiative Lead at the International News Media Association, and Coach for the Local Media Association's Family and Independent Media Sustainability Lab. Previously, Amalie served as SVP of local news and audience development at USA TODAY NETWORK, where a significant shift from a page view model to a revenue-diversified approach led to 2 million digital-only subscribers. Additional experience includes editorial leadership roles at The Des Moines Register, Detroit Free Press, AnnArbor.com, and Ann Arbor News, with a foundational education in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Eastern Michigan University.
