James Gould

James Gould is an Operations Manager with extensive experience in the heritage and food and beverage sectors. Currently part of the Senior Leadership Team for the Isle of Purbeck portfolio at the National Trust since August 2016, James oversees management of Corfe Castle and a team of over 50 staff and volunteers, welcoming around 250,000 visitors annually. Previous roles include Senior Food and Beverage Manager, with a focus on operations at the largest pay-to-visit site in London and the South East, and Management Accounts Assistant at Seymour Taylor. Early career experience at Greggs involved positions as Area Support Manager, Cluster Manager during the 2012 Olympics, and Shop Manager, emphasizing operational excellence and customer service. James is pursuing AAT qualifications in Accounting at Yeovil College.
