Loredana Mannina is a highly experienced conservator specializing in decorative arts, leather, and modern materials, currently serving as the Senior National Conservator for Furniture and Woodwork at the National Trust since August 2023. In addition, Loredana has been the Conservation Manager for Historic Collections at the Houses of Parliament since November 2019, overseeing the care of historic furniture and decorative arts collections. As a Leather Conservation Course Tutor at Centro Conservazione e Restauro "La Venaria Reale" since September 2015, Loredana contributes to student learning through teaching and research. Previous roles include Senior Decorative Arts Conservator at Plowden & Smith, Furniture Conservator at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and various conservation roles at Consorzio Pragma. Loredana holds multiple degrees from the University of Palermo, including an MA in Objects Conservation and a BA in Conservation, along with professional accreditation in conservation.
