Sam Palmer

Sam Palmer is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in programming, partnerships, and archival administration. Currently serving as a Senior Programming & Partnerships Officer at the National Trust since November 2021, Sam previously worked as an Assistant Speech and Language Therapist at Autism East Midlands and held roles including Archivist at Mount St Mary's College and Curatorial Assistant at The Welbeck Estates Company Limited. Experience also includes positions with English Heritage as Education & Interpretation Manager and Education & Tours Manager at Travelbound International. Sam's career began as a Gallery Assistant at Harrogate Borough Council. Educational credentials include a degree in History of Art & Museum Studies from the University of Leeds and a Master’s degree in Archives/Archival Administration from the University of Leicester.
