Tara Hansford

Tara Hansford has an extensive work experience history. Tara started their career as a Textile Researcher at the Royal College of Art in 1992. Tara also worked as a Textile Research and Design professional at the Sarabhai Foundation in India. After that, they joined Norfolk County Council where they served as a Prow & Coast Path Surveyor and later became the National Trail Peddars Way/Coast Path Logo Designer.

In 1994, Tara began working at Norwich University of the Arts as a Lecturer in Art, Textiles, and Landscape History. Simultaneously, they also worked at South Norfolk District Council as part of the Leisure Team, managing public rights of way and green spaces. During their time there, they focused on biodiversity conservation, coordinating strategic cycling networks, and securing funding.

Currently, Tara Hansford is working at the National Trust as the Paths & Trails Lead / Project Manager. Tara'srole involves managing the organization's objectives, standards, and stakeholders while overseeing the delivery of national programs and guidance in curation and experience.
