Bob Neale

Bob Neale currently serves as the California Senior Program Manager at the Land Trust Alliance, a position held since August 2023. Previously, from May 2004 to August 2023, Bob Neale was the Stewardship Director at Sonoma Land Trust, managing a team of conservation professionals focused on 19 Preserves and 47 conservation easements. Prior to that role, Bob Neale worked as a Program Manager at Sustainable Conservation, leading the Partners in Conservation Program, which expedited the permitting process for environmentally friendly land management. Bob Neale began the conservation career as a Land Manager at Peninsula Open Space Trust, coordinating a volunteer conservation easement monitoring program. Bob Neale holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, earned between 1982 and 1985.
