Ron Prestage

Ron Prestage serves as the President of the National Pork Producers Council since 2009 and holds multiple leadership roles, including Chairman of the Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine since October 2012, and a member of the Board of Trustees at North Carolina State University since July 2011. Additional involvement includes serving as a Board Member for the SC Chamber of Commerce and a Trustee at Black River Electric Cooperative. Prestage has been part of the National Turkey Federation's Executive Committee and previously served as Past Chairman. As Chief Pilot and Managing Member of Prestage Farms of SC since July 1994, Prestage has a long history of leadership within the agricultural sector, supported by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from North Carolina State University.
