Mike Day

Mike Day has over 40 years of work experience in various roles within the education and nonprofit sectors. Mike has worked as an International Learning and Development Consultant for their own business since 2019. Prior to that, they held several positions at the National Union of Students (UK), including International and NUS-USI Director, Director of Devolved Nations and Internationalism, Director of Nations, and Director. Mike also worked as a Learning and Development Consultant at Barnardos Scotland, Membership Services Manager at the University of Strathclyde Students' Association, Training Officer and Development Officer at the National Union of Students, and Development Officer at Leicester Area Committee of NUS. Mike'searly career included roles as Volunteer Coordinator at Lancaster Centre for the Unemployed, Area Convenor at North West Area NUS, and Vice President at Lancaster University Students' Union.

Mike Day attended Lancaster University from 1977 to 1980, where they pursued a degree in Classics. During their time at the university, they focused on studying subjects such as Ancient History, Mediaeval History, and Latin.
