Simon Hawthorn

Simon Hawthorn possesses extensive experience in project management and stakeholder engagement, currently serving as a Portfolio Sponsor at Transport for London since September 2016, where Simon supports major projects related to station enhancements and HS2. In addition, Simon actively contributes to the National Society of Apprentices as a member of the leadership team, advocating for improved standards for apprentices across the UK. Prior experience includes an Executive Officer role with the Metropolitan Police, where Simon managed staff, led training initiatives, and oversaw emergency preparedness in high-pressure situations. Educationally, Simon has pursued degrees in Archaeology and Nursing at esteemed institutions, supplemented by A-level qualifications in Archaeology, Physics, and Medieval History.
