Conor Hayes

Conor Hayes is a seasoned academic specializing in computer science, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Galway since April 2021. Previously, Conor held the position of Lecturer above the bar at NUI Galway's School of Computer Science from January 2013 to April 2021 and has extensive research experience as a Co-Principle Investigator at the INSIGHT Centre for Data Analytics from June 2008 to January 2021. In addition, Conor led the Research Unit for Information Mining and Retrieval at NUI Galway and directed various master's programs in computer science and artificial intelligence. Conor's international experience includes a position as a visiting researcher at the University of Melbourne and a postdoctoral role at Fondazione Bruno Kessler. Conor's academic background includes a PhD, MSc, and BA in computer science from Trinity College Dublin.
