Illan Rua Wall

Illan Rua Wall is an academic specializing in law and human rights, currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Galway since January 2024. Prior to this role, Wall held a Professorship at the University of Warwick's School of Law from August 2022 to February 2024, and previously served as a Reader at Warwick Law School from September 2019 to November 2022. Additionally, Wall was an Associate Professor in Law at Warwick's School of Law from September 2012 to September 2019 and a Senior Lecturer in Law at Oxford Brookes University from September 2008 to August 2012. Wall earned a PhD in Legal Theory and Human Rights from Birkbeck, University of London, and holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Galway, along with a BCL in Law from University College Cork.
