Simon John Davies FRSB Hon.FIAS is an esteemed academic in the field of aquaculture nutrition, currently serving as Adjunct Professor of Aquaculture Nutrition at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and as Emeritus Professor of Aquaculture Nutrition and Professor of Aquaculture Biosciences at Harper Adams University. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Simon previously held a professorship in Fish Nutrition at the University of Plymouth for 29 years. Additionally, Simon serves as Honorary Professor of Aquaculture Biosciences at the University of Nottingham and has been the Editor-in-Chief of International Aquafeed since January 2009, overseeing its development as a leading journal in the aqua-feed sector. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from the University of Stirling, a Master’s Degree from Newcastle University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
