Edi Fung

VP, Development at National University of Singapore

Mr Edi Fung has over 15 years of experience leading fundraising and development work in the higher education sector, including steering donor acquisition and retention strategy, as well as driving policies and systems to strengthen fundraising, donor management, governance and compliance. A stalwart of the NUS Development Office, Edi has contributed to the steady growth of the University’s endowment footprint since 2006, maintaining NUS’ legacy as a leading institution in the local philanthropic sphere. His experience in the myriad aspects of development work – including donor relations, prospect research, gift stewardship and operations, among others – is complemented by a deep familiarity with the local philanthropic community and strong ties with the University’s donors.

Prior to NUS, Edi headed operations and business development in Singapore and Asia-Pacific, as well as led the delivery of client programmes in the region, at Enterprise IG, a global brand agency.

Edi holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and University of California Los Angeles. In 2008, he received the Kellogg Executive Scholar Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Northwestern University.
