Xiaoyuan Chen

Xiaoyuan (Shawn) Chen is currently the Nasrat Muzayyin Professor in Medicine and Technology at the National University of Singapore, a position held since December 2020. Previously, Chen served as a Senior Investigator and Lab Chief at the NIH from August 2009 to July 2020 and was an Associate Professor at Stanford University Medical Center from May 2004 to July 2009. Chen earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Idaho in 1999, having completed undergraduate studies at the same institution from 1996 to 1999. Chen's academic and research contributions are notable in the fields of medicine and technology.
