National Urban League
Yannick Wood currently serves as a Senior Advisor for Equitable Justice and Strategic Initiatives at the National Urban League, providing strategic guidance on urban expungement and voting programs while managing advocacy for justice-related initiatives. Previously, as Director of the Criminal Justice Reform Program at the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, Yannick led efforts to eliminate youth incarceration and enhance police accountability through research and legislative advocacy. Experience includes serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, where responsibilities included prosecuting various offenses and formulating alternatives to incarceration, as well as administrative management with the U.S. Secret Service. Yannick holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA in Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
