Arvia Walker

Arvia Walker, MSW, is an experienced social worker and advocate with a strong focus on campaigns, community engagement, and reproductive health rights. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Campaigns at the National Women's Law Center since October 2019, Arvia also owns Heaux Bag Co and Zora: The Coming of the Sun, LLC. Previous roles include Public Policy and Strategic Engagement Specialist at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, where Arvia worked to advance reproductive health access for African American and Black women. Arvia's background includes a variety of positions in legislative and outreach roles, culminating in a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut, complementing a Bachelor of Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University.
