Joe Dillon is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in instructional coaching and writing instruction. Currently serves as a Teaching Partner at Aurora Highlands P-8 since October 2022. As a Teacher Consultant for the Denver Writing Project since July 2008, Joe leads professional learning initiatives focused on writing instruction for educators from kindergarten to college levels, collaborating nationally with the National Writing Project. Joe has also worked as an Instructional Coach for Greater Denver Area public schools since August 2007, providing coaching for English and literacy teachers across K-12, as well as educational technology. Previous roles include Teacher on Special Assignment for instructional coaching at Gateway High School from August 2019 to June 2022 and at Rangeview High School from June 2016 to July 2019, where Joe taught a variety of subjects, including Humanities and English. Joe holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Colorado Boulder.
