Carole Renard is an experienced project manager and cultural assistant specializing in oral history and Jewish studies, currently serving as the NEH Oral History Project Manager at the National Yiddish Book Center since March 2016. Responsibilities include overseeing the Wexler Oral History Project, enhancing collection accessibility, and managing a team of transcript-editing specialists. Carole has a background in social media management and marketing from roles at Serious Play! Theatre Ensemble and has interned in curatorial positions, contributing to exhibition planning and promotional activities. With a Master’s Degree in Hebrew & Jewish Studies from UCL and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology and Jewish Studies from Smith College, Carole brings a strong academic foundation to cultural and educational initiatives.
