Natalie Hughes

Grants Manager at National Young Farmers Coalition

Natalie is based on unceded Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫʼ land (Ithaca, New York) and brings a decade of food systems fundraising experience to the Young Farmers Development Team. She most recently concluded an Interim Executive Director position at Groundswell Center for Local Food and Farming, a beginning farmer training organization, and previously led development and youth programming for an urban agriculture project. As a cyclist, snowboarder, and rock climber, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast dedicated to environmental justice and sustainability. She leads bike rides in the Finger Lakes Region of New York with Radical Adventure Riders, a group that promotes gender inclusivity and racial equity in the cycling community. She loves to travel for new outdoor adventures and has a surprisingly extensive repertoire of dad jokes.
