Marie McGovern Davis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent development and youth employment initiatives. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at the National Youth Employment Coalition, Marie previously held the position of Associate Vice President for Young Adult Talent Development at Jobs for the Future. As Program Director at MFHA, Marie led the Pathways to Social Equity Franchise Ownership program aimed at advancing Black ownership in the foodservice industry. Additional roles include Managing Director at Penn Foster, where Marie developed career services to bridge the gap between education and employment, and Executive Director at the Hire Opportunity Coalition, where Marie oversaw initiatives to engage opportunity youth in the workforce. Earlier in career, Marie held various positions at Chipotle Mexican Grill and Johnson & Wales University, focusing on recruitment and enrollment strategies. Marie earned two bachelor's degrees in Speech Communications and Broadcast Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.

Toward this end, NYEC sets and promotes quality standards; tracks, crafts and influences policy; provides and supports professional development; and builds the capacity of organizations and programs.
