Niek Allon

Niek Allon currently serves as the Head Of Treasury at Nationale-Nederlanden Bank N.V., a position held since June 2020. Prior to this role, Niek was with NIBC Bank from January 1997 to May 2020, where responsibilities included serving as Head of Debt Capital Markets & Syndicate and Head of Syndicate, successfully executing various public bond transactions. Niek also held the title of Associate Director Treasury & Investment Portfolios, managing long-term funding solutions and corporate treasury activities. Niek’s accomplishments include the inaugural issuance of the first conditional pass-through covered bond. Additionally, Niek was actively involved as Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the European Covered Bond Council from January 2016 to December 2019, representing a significant segment of the Covered Bond market. Niek Allon holds degrees from INSEAD, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and the University of Groningen.
