Marjo Hess

Marjo Hess possesses extensive experience in various roles focused on support and development. Currently serving as a conversation partner at Stek for the food bank since September 2022, Marjo also coaches talent development for underprivileged families through the Stadslink project Learning Dreams since January 2018. With a long tenure at the Nationale ombudsman from 1982 to 2006 as a complaint handler and subsequently as an advisor on citizen contacts and a counselor in conflict communication from 2007 onward, Marjo brings a wealth of expertise despite being retired. Additionally, Marjo contributed to the IMC Weekendschool as a lesson facilitator from February 2017 to November 2020, focusing on enhancing the abilities of children in grades 7, 8, and transition classes. Marjo holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Humanistic Counselling from Universiteit Leiden and Universiteit voor Humanistiek Utrecht, earned between 1991 and 2006.
