Kitty Arends

Kitty Arends is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in various fields. Currently, as a gepensioneerde at nergens since May 2022, Kitty has also been a mede-eigenaar of Arends Decoratief Wonen since June 1991, specializing in home decor and comfort. In addition, Kitty has been actively involved with the Nationale Vereniging De Zonnebloem since January 2000, serving as a visit volunteer and previously as treasurer for the Zetten-Hemmen-Randwijk division from 2000 to 2013. Prior to retirement, Kitty held the position of advisor in business operations at the Ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat for nearly 40 years, where programming in multiple languages such as Cobol and Visual Basic was a key responsibility. Kitty's early career included administrative work at Valkering's Selectiebedrijf from 1974 to 1983. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and further studies at Open Universiteit.
