Ann Andersson

Ann Andersson is an experienced Museum Curator at the Nationalmuseet, specializing in the Ancient Near Eastern Department and Ethnographic collections since March 2024. Concurrently, Ann has served as a Scientific/Teaching Assistant in Archaeology at the University of Copenhagen since May 2014, engaging in research and teaching related to Near Eastern Archaeology. Ann's past roles include various archaeological positions at institutions such as Moesgaard Museum and Uppsala University, focusing on ceramic research and illustration, as well as participation in field projects in Iraq and Jordan. Ann holds a Master of Arts degree in Near Eastern Archaeology from the University of Copenhagen and has also worked in administrative roles, including case officer and AML advisor at Danske Bank.
