Alan Keir

Alan Keir has extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across various financial institutions. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Nationwide Building Society since March 2022, Alan has held significant positions such as Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Majid Al Futtaim from September 2016 to October 2024, and Chairman at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Bank International plc from January 2022 to September 2024. Alan's previous roles include Non Executive Director positions with HSBC UK and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe, where leadership in risk management was emphasized.
