Cheryl Camacho

Cheryl Camacho holds an MBA and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) with extensive experience in healthcare education and simulation. Currently serving as the Director of Simulation & Outreach Education at Nationwide Children's Hospital since September 2019, Cheryl has also been an active member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) since 2013, holding various leadership roles, including Chair of the SSH Director SIG and Co-Chair of the IMSH 2024 Planning Committee. Additionally, Cheryl works as a Pediatric Education Specialist/Paramedic at Johns Hopkins University. Previous positions include Director of Certifications and Insitu Programs at MedStar Health, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing AHA simulation-based curriculum programs across multiple hospitals. Cheryl is pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership and Strategy at Capella University, building on a solid educational foundation that includes a BS in Healthcare Administration and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
