Cynthia Zimm, MD, MBA, FAAP, currently serves as Division Chief at Nationwide Children's Hospital since August 2022. With extensive experience in pediatric urgent care, Cynthia has held multiple positions at PM Pediatrics including Regional Medical Director and Medical Director since April 2017. Prior roles include MD at Washington Avenue Pediatrics and attending physician in the pediatric emergency room at Staten Island University Hospital, where coordination of care for a high volume of patients was key. Cynthia completed a Pediatrics residency at Jacobi Medical Center, receiving an AAP pediatric resident research grant for a study on cultural feeding practices, and earlier worked in clinical pathology at Montefiore Hospital. Education includes an MBA from Indiana University, an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a BA from Wellesley College, complemented by time at the University of Oxford.
