Maria Elena Hernandez Gonzalez is an experienced professional in the field of genomic medicine and molecular biology, currently serving as a Technology Development Specialist at Nationwide Children's Hospital since April 2019. In this role, Maria Elena assists in the development and implementation of tests and instrumentation, focusing on next-generation library preparation and sequencing of long DNA molecules using GridION and PACBIO platforms. Prior to this position, Maria Elena managed the MCIC Laboratory at The Ohio State University from June 2009 to April 2019, providing technical support for DNA next-generation sequencing and applying various molecular biology protocols.
